NOTICE TO CUSTOMERS:

WITHDRAWAL OF RATE INCREASE REQUEST

Mountain Lakes Water Co. has submitted to the State Corporation Commission [“SCC”] a Motion to Withdraw its request for a rate increase, and as of August 1, 2025 is reverting its billing back to the Company’s prior tariffed rates and charges, as per the following table:

Mountain Lakes Water has been depositing the difference between the old rates and the interim rates in a Rate Differential Escrow account, and will return as a refund to each customer the difference actually collected from that customer, with interest. Mountain Lakes Water will refund the money by: (a) a one-time reduction of water bills paid -up customers; (b) setting off the refund against the amount owed for those in arrears; and (c) a rebate check to any departed customers, after SCC approval, and in accord with their requirements.
